Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez tied the knot yesterday, officials of the Portuguese football sensation have said.
Ronaldo, 41, posted a photo of the couple’s hands with their wedding rings with the caption: “C (heart) G” on his Instagram account.
The event was held in the Portuguese coastal city of Cascais, near Lisbon, the Brunswick Group, which handles the player’s public relations, said.
The agency claimed that their five children attended the “private and intimate” ceremony.
The pair married the marriage exactly one year after Rodriguez, 32, an influencer, announced their engagement on Instagram.
Ronaldo, who represented Portugal at the World Cup this summer, now plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus forward won the Ballon d’Or five times as the world’s finest player.
