A middle-aged woman yet-to-be identified was allegedly decapitated by a guy at a hotel room in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
Weekend Trust adds that the incident was supposed to have occurred yesterday afternoon at the Novex Hotel where the suspect was said to have checked into with the woman.
Some reports indicated that they heard the noises of a battle in the room where the suspect had lodged and promptly broke into the room, where they spotted the woman in a pool of blood and with a deep cut on her neck.
The body had been taken from the hotel to a hospital, whose location has not been released, while the suspect was reported to have been arrested by police.
The Spokesman of the Adamawa state Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, who confirmed the event claimed that one suspect has been apprehended by the Command in connection with the alleged crime.
“The Command has commenced a full-scale investigation into the incident. As the inquiry continues, further information will be released to the public.
