The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has intercepted a major drug gang in Mushin, a suburb of Lagos.
TNT can exclusively reveal the sting operation was carried out by the Agency in the early morning hours of yesterday, Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Our source who lives in the neighbourhood and preferred anonymity said at about 2am of yesterday, operatives of the Agency invaded a two-room flat used by the syndicate as a warehouse located at 11, Adegbite street in the Mushin area of Lagos where they stored the illicit drugs, including Tramadol, cannabis and others in bags.
“The NDLEA operatives must have been acting on information. Approximately eight of them arrived this morning (Sunday) around 2am. They entered the whole premises which is occupied by other renters. “They came while there was no electricity in the area so they were pointing torch lights. They searched everywhere and finally went straight to the two room flat where the strong drugs were kept. “They took away about 20 bags of the illegal substances,” our insider added.
“No arrests were made because at that time of night none of the owners of the hard drugs were around, said our source.
The spokesman of the Agency could not confirm the nocturnal operation when our correspondent tried to ascertain the facts at the time of going to press.
