Franca Afegbua, Nigeria’s first female senator, has passed away. It happened on Sunday.
The Afegbua family of Edo state announced this in a statement, saying: “The Afegbua family of Edo state has confirmed the demise of Senator Franca Afegbua, who sad event occurred this morning, Sunday, March 12, 2023.
“While serving Nigeria, she successfully combined intelligence and beauty. The family promised to make announcements regarding the funeral shortly.
