President Bola Tinubu has cautioned his son Seyi and others from disrupting FEC meetings.

According to Daily Trust, the president has claimed that he has seen Seyi and other unauthorised individuals scurrying into and out of the weekly federal cabinet meeting where the most pressing issues facing the country are discussed.

His warning was clear: we can no longer tolerate this behaviour.

When I turned around, I saw a picture of my son Seyi. That can’t stand. I’ll make an announcement about who should be here,” he promised.

President Tinubu introduced the audience to Hadiza Usman, his special adviser on policy coordination; Bayo Onanuga, his special adviser on information and strategy; Hakeem Muri-Okunola, his principal private secretary; and Damilotun Aderemi, his private secretary.

Those individuals are given special permission to attend national business meetings. Don’t show up unless it’s explicitly stated that you’re needed. Please take note, Government Secretary and Chief of Staff.

“Unless your staff that are included, no one is privileged to have access sitting in this (Council Chambers), except those four that I’ve announced to you,” the President threatened.

The president also spoke positively of the Sunday bilateral and business discussions with visiting German government and business representatives led by Chancellor of the Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz.

President Tinubu congratulated his ministers for attending the conference and urged them to use their creativity to speed up the reforms needed to attract investors.

We had a great turnout yesterday, so thanks to everyone who made the effort to come to this national event on a Sunday. In my opinion, the visit of the German chancellor was a huge success for the country.

We should take our reforms seriously because investors are watching us; they are interested in us, but we need more time to do it.”Just like I said before, investors and investments are afraid of conflict. Tinubu urged his followers to “think out of the box” and consider innovative solutions.
