Two women have appeared before a magistrate court in Agbara over assault on certain Ann Ezuma, a member of staff of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC).

Aledeh reiterated the company’s zero-tolerance over such heinous acts.

One of the sureties must present evidence of tax payment for at least one year. The accused persons were, however, remanded in the Ilaro facility of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) pending the perfection of their bail.

The matter was adjourned till March 4, 2020 for further trial.

Aledeh advised the public against assaulting EKEDC staff as the company will go the full length of the law to seek justice against anyone who does so. He also assured all staff of EKEDC of their safety while performing their lawful duties as measures are in place to curb these acts.
