Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has reportedly proceeded on self-isolation after an immediate family member and Senior Government officials were tested positive for the coronavirus global pandemic.
This was disclosed by the Governor through a broadcast late Friday night on his social media handles.
The Governor said he hoped to be tested for the virus on Sunday after which more details would be provided.
The Governor did now, however, disclosed the identities of the family member and the government officials.
Going on self isolation, the Governor who had earlier tested positive for the virus in March said, was a precautionary move that complies with the standard Covid-19 protocols. (Saturday Independent)
