Of the 133,792 persons screened for the Human Immune Virus (HIV) between January and June this year in Imo State, 3,891 of them tested positive to the infection.
Also, two out of every 100 persons were infected by the virus in the state.
The Programme Coordinator of the State AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infection Control, Dr Desmond Emenalo, made the disclosure yesterday in Owerri during the Imo State Inaugural Surge Consortium by Caritas Nigeria
