President Bola Tinubu has extended his customary holiday in Europe.
Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, made this known in a statement issued tonight.
The presidential spokesman who claimed the president would return to the country at the weekend, gave no rationale for the development.

President Tinubu travelled to London on August 30 to start the working holiday.
“After a week in London, he flew to Paris, France, where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron and businessman Mr Vincent Bollore, whose media group includes Canal+, Multichoice and Universal Music Group.
“Since his departure on the vacation, President Tinubu has continued to keep in touch with home, directing the affairs of the nation, like ordering an independent panel to investigate the death of 37 illegal miners in Minna, following their detention by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, among others.
While travelling, President Tinubu assigned Vise President Kashim Shettima to represent him at certain of the official duties Shettima who left Abuja on September 20 for New York, to participate in the 81st United Nations General Assembly, however, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume who is also representing the president at functions will continue to do so.
“On the political front, the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Senator Abubakar Yari, has been leading notable party leaders for consultations with prominent traditional rulers in the country.
