Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, is the President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW). He has asked the police to look into an allegation of murder made against him by Siyan Akinsanya.
Siyan Akinsanya claimed in a viral Facebook video that he saw MC Oluomo kill a pregnant woman and bury her, along with the unborn baby, in the Oshodi area of Lagos. MC Oluomo has strongly denied this, saying it is part of a plan by his enemies to turn the public against him, according to The Nation.
The transport unionist, through his lawyer Felix Abraham, Esq., asked the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Federal Intelligence Department (FID) to look into what he called “gross defamation of character.”
The petition, which was dated March 30, 2026, was called “Criminal Intimidation, Assassination of Character, Threatening Violence, Giving Public/Police False Information, Membership of Unlawful Gang, and Inciting Public Peace.”
The lawyer said that his client is a real citizen of Nigeria, follows the law, is a youth leader, and is the President of the National Union of Road Transport Worker Association. He also said that his client has recently been attacked by people who are loyal to his opponents, who are spreading all kinds of lies and falsehoods about him in an effort to ruin his reputation.
Part of the petition says, “The above person went on social media (Facebook) to post a live video saying that our client killed someone and that he saw him burying a pregnant woman and her unborn baby as part of a ritual.” He also promised to lead the police to the burial site in Oshodi, Lagos State.
In this regard, MC Oluomo has asked the Police to fully look into the serious claim by asking Siyan Akinsanya to escort Police officers to the burial site and dig up the bodies.
