Man 24 years sodomises stepbrother in Ondo
In Akure, Ondo State, police have detained 24-year-old Pelumi Folorunsho on charges of sodomising his stepbrother, who is only eight years old.
Their neighbour in the NEPA neighbourhood of Akure allegedly caught him in the act.
After that, he faced one count of indecent assault in Akure Family Magistrate Court.
Martins Olowofeso, the police prosecutor, testified that the defendant committed the crime on September 16, 2023, at around 3 p.m., in their own home.
Olowofeso elaborated that the defendant had assaulted and injured his step-brother. In his ruling, Chief Magistrate F.A. Aduroja ordered the defendant to be remanded in police custody until judgement is handed down.
Aduroja gave him two weeks to clear the bushes from around the police station.
She then set the date for judgement to be rendered as October 5, 2023.
