As far back as in 1960, the rhythm produced from thudding local drums would fill the atmosphere on many special occasions and only very few ears could resist the seduction of such melodious beats. Many would fall into trance and the sky would see down the happiness amongst the people which was too much to be contained by the heart alone. That again, was the period when our beloved Nigeria was delivered from the shackles of colonization. What an epic moment! It was said that our wings grew bigger with our, as we escaped colonization, and that we flapped them all the way till we ourselves became a giant yes, we became the Giant of Africa.

To begin, Nigeria is a country marred by different myriad of problems. The economic, political and even social issues of the Nation are in comatose. Economic situation turns to be venom deteriorating many aspect of life. The GDP turns to be shrinking, everyone keeps lamenting about the era we are. We strive to get our three square meals. It turns to be 1-0-1 like a binary number but rather a reality of how the economic condition turns many hardworking youths to be a lazy fellow. Poverty erupted through this, proclaiming many lives, exploding and deteriorating round. Stepping into the political issue, it seems like a potent cancer that has eaten the Nation to a state of stupor. Politicians regard politics as macro business enterprises.  They keep investing their savings and even loan, if necessary in order to get to the parliament. Security issues rise to be threats. We faced many challenges against the trouble of our vengeful terrorists endangering the life of our peoples, causing havocs to the Nation;millions of people suffered the cold hand of death.  The future of Nigeria lies in our hand.

Exploring through the North, different situations arise. To the southern part of the country, another problems entirely whooping for separate solutions. Thinking about FUTURE OF NIGERIA, is like a coat of arm, engraved in it different symbols that symbolize different meaning.

Economic condition won’t be the Determinant to consider for poverty to aggravate, but rather a factor to re-make in order to suite our taste. The interest of the populace will be considered rather than their personal interest, in line with good leaders. We need to survive, never to release the breadcrumbs of our past to deteriorate the future, leaving the trend of poverty and hunger, propelling to the era of good economic condition. Eradicating poverty is the greatest global challenges facing the world today, and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. In this regard, we are committed to freeing humanity from poverty and hunger. We ought to leave the scene and bid hunger our final farewell in establishing the NATION of our desire. Employment opportunities for graduates, skill acquisition and many entrepreneurer will cherish the scar they bear as being a NIGERIAN.

Moving on, peace will reign, blood shed will fade like an epitome of beauty. We also reaffirm the importance of freedom, peace and security, respect for all human rights, including the right to development and the right to an adequate standard of living. Peace, our top priority. Our health sector, free, accessible and quality healthcare system clouds my mind. Good social amenities.  Educational systemwon’t be an assets for the rich and liabilities for the poor but rather, EDUCATION FOR ALL.  Good Governance not for personal interest but for the Masses.

The Nigeria of my dream is to live where everybody’s dreams can be achieved. In the undying words of late President Umar Musa Yar’adua, at his inauguration on May 29, 2007 as the Fourth civilian President of Nigeria, he said, “No matter what obstacles confront us…. I have confidence and faith in our ability to overcome them. After all, we are Nigerians! We are a resourceful and enterprising people, and we have it within us to make our country a better place”.
