Ngozi Nwosu a.k.a Popular Nollywood Actress Ije Kpoms, is seriously ill and has called on kind-hearted Nigerians for financial support.
The veteran actress of ‘Fuji House of Commotion’ fame said in an emotional video posted on her Instagram page Thursday from her hospital bed that she needs 30 million to undergo three urgent procedures. She warned that any delay might prove fatal.
My people, my fans and my family, I know you have not seen me around for quite some time now. Have been in hospital now for 3 weeks. Please, the thing is out of my hands. I need your help, don’t let me die.
“I know you people never leave me. And I know God will always pull me through.
But I am imploring you my followers and my family: don’t let me die. Like in pain. Because I am going through a lot.
I have like 3 operations left to go through. “Don’t let me die, please. If there is anything you would like to do for me, please contact my management and they will be there for you. Thanks. God bless you.
In the name of Jesus, no one shall inherit my sickness. “Thank you,” she said on video.
This isn’t the first time Nwosu has encountered health challenges. In 2013 she was airlifted to the United Kingdom for successful heart and kidney transplant. She had friends, coworkers and corporate bodies behind her at that time. Earlier, former Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, gave ₦4.5 million and well wishers raised ₦2 million.
She says the disease has returned and she is back in hospital.
