A 30-year-old woman from Pennsylvania has been charged with many felonies after allegedly refusing to accept the end of a brief romance and breaking into the home of a guy she met through Match.com, authorities said.
Falls Township Police said Lindsay Carole Harris of Ambler connected with the Bucks County man on the dating app in January 2026. The two reportedly met in person once before the man told Harris he was no longer interested in a relationship.
Investigators said Harris continued to call the man after being asked to stop and eventually showed up unannounced at his home in Fairless Hills.
The homeowner called police on June 28 after finding evidence someone had been inside his home, including an open bottle of wine and food left out. Then he claims to have seen Harris outside trying to enter the property through a rear window.
Harris was taken into custody by responding cops as she attempted to enter through a window, they said.
She’s been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, stalking and other charges. Harris posted 10 percent of a $50,000 bail and was released and is due for a preliminary hearing July 21.
