The evacuation of Nigerians from South Africa by the Federal Government has hit another milestone with the arrival of the fifth group of returnees in Lagos last evening.
According to Channels TV, around 180 Nigerians were brought back home on the Air Peace flight, which was unable to fly out as scheduled yesterday due to a technical glitch.
This latest arrival brings to roughly 1,000 the number of South African individuals evacuated following previous xenophobic violence.
