The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the launch of its 2026 recruitment campaign and has called on competent Nigerians to apply for vacancies in various cadres in the institution.
The application portal will be open on Friday, July 3, 2026 and will remain open for 4 weeks on the agency’s official employment platform, a recruitment notification from the Corps stated.
The warning dated June 24 was signed on behalf of the Corps Marshal by the Deputy Corps Marshal and Head of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, The Nation reported.
The FRSC emphasised that the recruitment procedure is absolutely free and advised prospective applicants not to pay anyone or group of persons for job possibilities.
“Application is free and costs nothing,” said the notice.

Interested candidates need to apply online via the FRSC’s official recruitment portal from Friday, July 3, 2026. The application period is four weeks long.
Applicants are recommended to use their personal e-mail and phone numbers for registration. Shortlisted candidates, the corps noted, would be expected to produce printed copies of their completed application forms during the screening exercise.
The announcement also stated that applications should be made online within four (4) weeks from Friday, 3rd July 2026.
The recruiting drive is for three major cadres namely Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspectorate Cadre and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre.
Categories & prerequisites
There are vacancies for the Officer Cadre in the Rank of Superintendent Route Commander, Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander and Assistant Route Commander.
The Corps said professionals such as medical doctors, chemists, nurses, medical laboratory scientists, lawyers, engineers and graduates with B.Sc., BA or HND certificates can apply for positions within the cadre based on the individual role. Applicants are usually between 18 and 35 years of age.
Candidates with NCE, ND/OND, Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife and Community Health Extension Worker certifications are eligible for the Marshal Inspectorate Cadre. Candidates Age should be between 18 to 30 years.
For the Road Marshal Assistant Cadre, applicants must possess at least three credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) including English Language and Mathematics.
The Corps also urged craftsmen and other skilled professionals such as computer operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, motorbike riders and drivers to apply providing they had the required trade certifications and licenses.
Applicants for driver and rider posts must have a valid driver’s licence of the relevant class. Articulated vehicle and tow-truck drivers must be between the ages of 26 and 40.
Prerequisites
The FRSC said applicants must meet the following standards before applying.
The notice says the applicants must be Nigerians by birth, computer literate, medically fit and single. They should also possess the relevant educational qualifications and, if applicable, professional licensing.
Male candidates should be a minimum of 1.65 metres tall and female candidates a minimum of 1.58 metres tall.
The Corps called on job seekers to make all necessary disclosures during recruiting.
“Undeclared qualifications will not be accepted for future career progression within the Corps. Therefore, all certificates and qualifications must be declared and presented at the point of recruitment,” read the notice.
It added that applicants “must be of good character, free from financial indebtedness and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.”
The FRSC equally specified that applicants must not have tattoos on any part of their body and should provide their individual email addresses and telephone numbers when filling the online application.
Pregnant women were warned not to take part in the recruitment exercise.
The corps reiterated its scam warning, adding that no payment is necessary at any stage of the exercise.
