The actress wrote an emotional statement on Instagram about the rumors and accusations that had been following her, especially the ones that said she was a drug addict. She explained why she chose to undergo a drug test to put the subject to rest.
Regina Daniels says that the last few months have been too much for her. It was a time that challenged her strength and rocked her to her core.
She said that everything she used to know seemed to be “drowning” in front of her eyes, but she got through it due of the love and support of her family, friends, and strangers.
The actress stated, “I decided to take this test because I owe it to the people who stood by me, the people who love me, and the people who look up to me.” It matters to be honest. Being responsible is important. “Peace of mind is very important.”
She said that “integrity matters” and that being responsible and having peace of mind were two of the main reasons she did what she did.
Regina talked about the widespread rumor that she was a drug addict. She said that at first she stopped and thought about the story that was being told about her. After a lot of self-reflection, she realized that a lot of people put their fears, insecurities, and negativity on other people. She said, “Projection is not reality, and noise is not truth.”
