Opara Chinonso Ibinabo, better known as Kim Oprah, star of Big Brother Naija reality show, has shared some of her childhood hardships.
During her time in college, Oprah disclosed that she and her sister used to sell pure water and recharge cards.
In an interview with Taymesan for the Tea With Tay podcast, she revealed this.
“My mother was in the military following the loss of my dad. In order to aid with housing, we were forced to relocate into the Abuja barracks.
“My sister and I used to sell recharge cards, fresh water, and eggs around our side when I was a student at the University of Port Harcourt. Since there wasn’t a nearby kiosk where you could buy those goods, we turned into the kiosk.
To be honest, I’m just happy that I went through it because it really shaped me and made me stronger.
