In Umuahia, four students from the same family have gone missing after a tricycle driver who was supposed to transport them to school instead drove them somewhere else.

According to the Daily Independent, the children whose names were Mmesoma, Testimony, Godswill, and Chinwotito were born to Mr. Chimobi Agah of Umuagu, Umuahia.

The incident was reported at the Ohuhu Police Station on November 28, 2023, according to ASP Maureen Chinaka, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Abia State Command, who confirmed the news in Umuahia.

The parents of the missing children reportedly told the police that the Keke rider took them somewhere they don’t know, according to the police spokesperson.

They informed the Ohuhu Police Station about it, and the division’s DPO immediately began searching the area, including nearby hotels, for the children.

She stated that the matter is still under investigation.

Rumour has it that Agah, the kids’ dad, is from Amasiri in Ebonyi State but now calls Abia State home and runs a company there.

According to reports, Agah was on a business trip in Enugu State when the event took place. Upon learning of the development from his wife, he promptly returned to Umuahia.

It was also learned that the family had never met the Keke rider before the mother hired him to transport her children to school.
