Sweden has established itself as a pioneer in recognizing sex as a recreational activity by registering it as an official sport.
Sweden is preparing to host the inaugural European Sex Championship on June 8, taking the lead in this ground-breaking initiative.
The championship is organized by the Swedish Sex Federation and is open to all European countries. Over the course of several weeks, participants will be required to compete for six hours per day.
The competitions will cover sixteen disciplines, including seduction, oral sex, and penetration, among others.
“Sweden Sets the Stage for the First European Sex Championship”
The Swedish Sex Association’s chairman, Dragan Bratych, emphasizes that the goal of sex as a sport is to maximize pleasure. As a result, participants will earn more points based on the happiness of their partners. The evaluation criteria will consider aspects such as originality, strong emotions, imagination, physical fitness, stamina, and work ethic. Additionally, familiarity with the Kamasutra will be advantageous, as contestants will receive bonus points for incorporating its various techniques into their performances.
A combination of audience votes (70%) and jury ratings (30%) will be used in the final evaluation to determine the winners.
Twenty competitors from various nations have already applied for the championship. The organizers believe that sexual orientation can have a strategic impact on performance and expect that other European nations will follow suit in the near future.
While numerous activities, including wife-carrying, underwater hockey, extreme ironing, and chess boxing, have been designated as sports, Sweden’s decision to recognize sex as a sport establishes a new standard.
Predictably, the Internet is buzzing with both praise and criticism regarding this development.
