Man stabs sibling to death in Imo community

A middle-aged man Ohalete Njoku has been accused of stabbing his biological brother, Austin Njoku to death in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

An eyewitness said the suspect allegedly stabbed the deceased several times on the back and shoulders until he bled to death following a quarrel over a small piece of land.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Monday at Umumbasi Amaraku in Isiala Mbano Council Area, attracted hundreds who witnessed the suspect and his deceased brother paraded in a wheel burrow around the community.

Imo police spokesman CSP Michael Abattam said he will get back after confirming the incident from the Divisional Police Headquarters in the council area. (The Nation)
