Kogi Varsity losses another senior staff

Kogi State University, Anyigba, has lost another senior staffer in the person of Dr Samuel Okpanachi, former Assistant Registrar and Director of Sports of the institution.
Okpanachi died after a brief illness on Friday, November 26, 2021, in Anyigba.
His death came barely over a week after the varsity’s former Registrar, Alhaji Dr Abubakar Yunusa Idu, slumped and died on Wednesday, November 17.
The late Okpanachi joined the services of Kogi State University as an Assistant Registrar in 1999, after lecturing for over 15 years at Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa.
Okpanachi hailed from Alloma in Ofu Local Government Area and was, until his death, still in the services of the university.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
