Eid-el-Maulud: Muslims and Christians celebrate in Kaduna to foster peace and unity
The General Overseer of the Christ Evangelical and life Intervention ministry, Sabon Tasha, Pastor Yohannna Buru, and some other Christians have joined millions of Muslims in Kaduna to celebrate Eid-el-Maulud with the aims of achieving better understanding among different faith-based organisations.
According to Buru, preaching peace, reconciliation, forgiveness and promoting religions tolerance have taken him to many places round the world.
He said they were at Ranchers Stadium Kaduna to join millions of Muslim towards celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet because the prophet is for everyone.
Buru added that the prophet spent his life promoting peace to all nations and providing other humanitarian services for all mankind.
Buru added “every year during Christmas, thousands of Muslims have also celebrated with us in my house celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with Joy and happiness.
“We must remember that we are one family under God, worshiping one God, and we all believe in the Bible and the Quran.” (NAN)
