The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has claimed the life of another illustrious Nigerian in the Diaspora.

The victim, Mr Greg Lebari, an Ogoni from Rivers State in South-South Nigeria, was one-time General Secretary of the Nigerian Community Manchester, United Kingdom.

Incumbent Chairperson of Nigerian Community Manchester, Ms Augusta Amaka Ugoh, disclosed that Mr Lebari died of COVID-19 in Eccles Manchester on Friday morning, April 10, 2020.

“He left behind a young daughter (7 years), a wife and two older children from his first marriage. The irony is that nobody can visit his wife to comfort her. We’re in total lockdown,” Ms Ugoh lamented.
