Former Vise President Atiku is urged by Kwankwaso to drop out of the 2027 presidential contest.The vice presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Kwankwaso has called on ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar to withdraw out of the presidential election for 2027. This will be the sixth time that Atiku is contesting for president. He ran for the first time in 1993. The declaration was made by Atiku, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2019 general election, at the International Conference Center, Abuja. No hard background will make any Nigerian give up. “I am a living example of what is possible in Nigeria.” If he wins, Atiku stated presidency, Nigeria “will run a liberal economy that will enable small businesses to grow through lower taxes for small businesses and low income earners.” “My presidency will focus on five key areas: unity of Nigeria, security, economy, education, and devolving more resources and powers to the federating units,” Atiku added. “I have never been this optimistic and with your support and God’s grace we will get to the promised land.”
