Names of some of those taken away by bandits from the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre in Zaria, Kaduna State, have become known, as well as details of the satanic operation.

The spokesperson of the Medical and Health Union, Maryam Abdulrazaq, said on Sunday evening: “The bandits attacked the staff quarters around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. The attack lasted for over one hour.

“So far, we have not heard from the bandits, since they took them away.

“This is the third time they are attacking us.

“Only six people are confirmed kidnapped by the bandits. Our two nurses namely Odor and her one-year-old baby and Joy Yakubu. Others are Kasim, the auditorium personnel, Christiana, the Laboratory Technician, and a senior security guard on duty.

“No life lost and nobody is injured during the attack, even though there were sporadic shootings by the bandits.”

Spokesperson of Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, earlier confirmed the attack.

He could, however, not confirm whether the police or the bandits suffered any casualty during the shootout.
