U.I. prof, Femi Kayode, dies after brief illness

Professor of Economics and Director at the Centre for Resource Management and Consultancy, University of Ibadan (UI), Oyo State Prof. Femi Kayode is dead.

He died on Monday at the University of Ibadan Teaching Hospital (UITH) after a brief illness. He was 81 years.

The late Prof. Kayode, who hailed from Egbe, Yagba West Local Council of Kogi State, was a member of the National Revenue Allocation Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission (NRAMFC) and Chairman, Allocation sub-committee of the commission. He was a member, Capital Issues Commission (CIC), a non-executive director, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and member, Technical Committee, Vision 2010 among other regional, state and national assignments.
