The comedian has been away since March 13, 2026 after being shot while filming in Sango-Ota, Ogun State, says Sunday Guardian.
Since the initial therapy and referral for additional care, the comedian has been off social media.

Although the details around the claimed shooting are still vague, sources have reported that Broda Shaggi was brought to a hospital in Lagos State where he was given first care.
