A Nigerian woman, Mrs Ezinne Nwanorue, who lives in Canada, has accused her husband, Franklin Nwanorue, of cheating on her with another woman outside their marriage, despite swearing an oath of loyalty on social media.
Mrs Nwanorue disclosed this on her Facebook profile, Ezinne Frank Nwanorue on Thursday.
Saturday PUNCH says that woman claimed she had suffered at the hands of her husband, even though he sponsored her relocation abroad.
The pair sparked a social media buzz Tuesday after releasing recordings of themselves swearing not to have affairs outside of marriage and calling for death as the penalty if they did.
Mr Nwanorue stated he would die if he came to Canada and was unfaithful to his wife and vowed to be faithful to their marriage vows.
He said God told his wife to make the proclamation and he agreed since he wanted the best for his wife and children.
“I confess and I promise if I come to Canada and cheat on you, let me die in the name of Jesus,” the husband said in a video.
The wife responded with a video in which she promised to stay faithful to her husband.
“This is me telling my husband, Franklin Chimaobim Nwanorue, that I am going to be sexually faithful to him and if I am unfaithful, I should die, in the name of Jesus,” she stated.
But on Thursday Mrs Nwanorue posted a woman’s comment about her husband’s adultery.
“This is a comment from my husband’s side chick in Nigeria. She admitted that even after my husband confessed, he still slept with one of his side chicks. I have had much suffering at his hands.
My husband paid for my move to a foreign country and I will pay him back by helping him get a visa and God will do it for me. But if my spouse cheats on me, he will not live to see Canada.
“He has taken an oath to be sexually loyal once he’s in Canada. I believe in God and I trust his decision. “If he cheats on me, my husband must die,” she wrote.
