Nigerian afro-house singer, Niniola Apata, famously known as Niniola, has revealed the death of her husband, Michael Ndika.
The Grammy-nominated performer revealed about the heartbreaking loss on her Instagram account in a series of tearful posts on Wednesday morning.
Ndika, the Chief Executive Officer of NaijaReview, a multimedia portal for afro-house and current African music, is said to have died after 13 years with the singer.
In one of the messages, Niniola said, “God took him.
She wrote another heartbreaking message: “My husband died.”
The singer went on to mourn the loss: “God took him. 13 years. 13 f**king years.
The singer, known for her big afro-house songs and dynamic performances, has not yet shared more information concerning her husband’s death.
Since the announcement, fans, colleagues and sympathisers have taken to social media to share condolence comments.
