Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, an actress, has thanked the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, for his royal backing of her new movie.
Omotola, who both produced and directed the movie “Mother’s Love,” posted a video on Instagram of the Ooni and his family watching the movie with actor Olumide Oworu at the famous Delborough venue.
In her caption, Omotola praised the king for coming to the event and talked about how important the movie was: “Thank you to the Ooni of Ife, The Ojaja, for coming to watch our movie Mothers Love at the Prestigious Delborough. Mother’s Love is More Than Just a Movie. It’s a cultural event.
Did you see the “Celebration of Culture” in “Mother’s Love”?
She told fans to see the movie, which is still playing in theaters around the country: “Mother’s Love is still playing in theaters near you today.” Be a part of the movement. “Be a part of history.”
The movie, which is Omotola’s first time directing, deals with difficult topics including parenthood, family relationships, sacrifice, and cultural identity.
