Today, Iranian media said that 18 people, including two children, died in strikes in Alborz province, which is next to the capital. They got this information from a provincial official.
The judiciary’s Mizan Online website and the Fars news agency said that a deputy governor of Alborz province said that US-Israeli strikes damaged homes and that “the deaths of 18 of our fellow citizens have been confirmed, including two young children.”
The deputy governor said that twenty-four persons were hurt in the incident that happened early in the morning.
In the last few days, Iran’s government has not given an updated aggregate death toll for the war.
Our journalist can’t go to the places of strikes to check the tolls in Iran because of reporting limitations, according to AFP.
The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), which is located in the US, claimed on April 6 that at least 3,597 individuals had died, including 1,665 civilians (at least 248 of whom were children), 1,221 military members, and 711 persons whose status had not yet been determined.
