Police said that four kids were stabbed to death today at a kindergarten in Kampala, Uganda’s capital.
The male suspect got in by pretending to be a parent and then attacked the youngsters, who were between the ages of two and three, according to local media.
Police spokeswoman Racheal Kawala stated that angry villagers tried to lynch the guy as he tried to get away, but security officers stopped him and captured him.
“We can confirm that a horrible event happened at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school in Makindye Division, Kampala City, where a man stabbed and killed four kids,” Kawala added.
Police are looking into the deaths, but the reason behind them is still not clear.
Videos on social media showed upset parents outside the now-closed nursery school looking for news about their kids and asking for their release.
In Uganda, these kinds of killings are rare.
