Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), is very sad about the death of Nihinloluwa Agoro and her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, who died in a car accident in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States.
Abdur-Rahman Balogun, the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols Unit, said in a statement that Dabiri-Erewa called the tragedy heartbreaking and said that losing someone so suddenly is hard on any family, especially during what was supposed to be a normal trip.
She sent her deepest condolences to the family who had lost someone, hoping for the departed to rest in peace and for the family to have fortitude during this hard time.
The head of NiDCOM also hoped that the people who were hurt in the accident will get better quickly.
Dabiri-Erewa sent her condolences to Nigerians living in the United States, especially those in Texas. She also asked drivers to be careful on the highways to help stop similar tragedies from happening again.
Reports say that the deadly crash happened on Sunday, March 15, 2026, as the victims were on their way to church.
