Yesterday, US President Donald Trump said that if there were more strikes on Qatar’s main gas facility, he would destroy Iran’s important South Pars gas field.
Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that Israel had attacked the South Pars field, but he maintained the US “knew nothing” about it. This led Iran to attack Qatar’s Ras Laffan plant.
The US president wrote, “NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL on this very important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran foolishly decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar. In that case, the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entire South Pars Gas Field with a strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before.”
