President Bola Tinubu has told the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to send rice to every state in the federation.
According to Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State and the Director-General of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, the order was to help people who are fasting Ramadan and Lent right now.
According to Daily Independent, he said that the goal of the program is to promote national unity and show compassion during a time that is very important to both Muslims and Christians.
He stated that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors will organize the distribution through their grassroots network across the country to make sure that households all over Nigeria benefit from the intervention during this holy season when both Muslims and Christians are fasting.
“It’s important to note that a similar action was taken last Christmas, when rice was also given out to help Nigerians celebrate the holiday season. This ongoing endeavor shows that the administration is always committed to standing behind citizens throughout crucial religious and cultural times.
Uzodinma said, “Both Christian and Muslim communities will get rice as part of the nationwide distribution effort. This shows the President’s commitment to inclusivity, solidarity, and shared national values.”
Uzodimma added that the initiative shows the President’s belief in helping people during this time of fasting and promoting peace between religions.
Governor Uzodimma said, “This project shows President Tinubu’s dedication to compassion and unity.” We should think about sacrifice, giving, and caring for each other during Ramadan and Lent. The Renewed Hope Ambassadors will make sure that families all throughout Nigeria feel the spirit of unity at this holy time by giving out these things.
He said that the distribution will happen all over the country through the state, local government, and ward organizations of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. This will make sure that it reaches a lot of people and is open and honest.
