The terrorist trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been scheduled for judgment by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja on November 20.
As reported by Channels TV, Justice Omotosho selected today as the day for the ruling following Kanu’s failure to launch his defense despite having used all six days allotted to him by the court.
Since Kanu did not take advantage of his right to a fair trial, the judge ruled that he cannot assert a denial of his constitutionally protected right to a fair trial.
