Recently, Peter Uwaibi, the leader of the Team Asue/Ogbe Diaspora Campaign Group, paid a visit to Prince Hon. Emma Odigie, also referred to as Kadafi, a significant political figure in Edo State. Uwaibi denounced the “injurious and glaringly despicable misfeasance” committed by the Nigerian Police Force during the visit.

Members of the diaspora are returning home to actively participate in the political process, raise awareness within their local communities, and cast their votes in the Edo gubernatorial election just seven days away. He went on to say that a press conference to address the alleged narcissism in the Nigerian Police Force will take place shortly.

A growing number of people believe that democratic processes are being undermined by manipulating the Nigerian Police. According to Uwaibi, the Edo people would resolutely resist any such dictatorial attempts to interfere with their rights.
