It was gathered that Umegbaka, a native of Isinkwo Abaomege in Onicha LGA of Ebonyi State, allegedly stole the three-year-old girl with the intention to sell her.

Disclosing this in Awka on Monday, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the baby has been rescued and returned to her parents.
