Veteran Nollywood Star, Sir David Osagie, is dead.
The 52-year-old popular actor known for playing the role of a king in many movies, reportedly died hours after filming on set.
News Express learnt of his death via an obituary announcement on a WhatsApp group of the late actor’s alma mater. The announcement read:
“Dear brothers and friends, it is with great pain, we confirm the passing away of our member and friend, David Osagie.
“It was confirmed by his sister, whom the Excos spoke to this morning.”
News Express learnt that the veteran actor had been battling with a health and needed financial assistance. The nature of the health challenges could not be immediately confirmed but indications are the expected help did not come fast enough for the late Osagie.
