Teenage herder, four cows reportedly killed in Plateau

A 17-year-old herder Buhari Muhammad has been killed around Rangyel community in Bassa LGA of Plateau State.

Four cows were also killed during the incident, Plateau chairman of Gan Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN), Abdullahi Garba, claimed.

According to him, the body of the deceased was recovered by the police.

The incident occured few days after two members of the Irigwe ethnic group were killed in an attack on the convoy of the member representing Jos North/Bassa constituency, Musa Agah.

Garba claimed Muhammad was attacked when he took his cattle to graze.

However, Plateau Police Spokesman ASP Gabriel Ogaba, said he was not sure of the incident. (The Nation)
