Female officer missing after gunmen attack another Enugu police station

A female police operative is still missing three days after she was abducted by gunmen who attacked Umulokpa Police Division in Uzouwani local government area of Enugu State.
The attack on Umulokpa police station came less than 24 hours after operatives of the State Police Command on Friday repelled what could have been a bloody attack on Aguobu Owa police station in Ezeagu Local Government Area.
The attack left an operative hospitalised.
At Umulokpa, it was gathered that patrol vehicles and other items were vandalised at the station while suspects were released from the cells.
According to a statement by spokesman of Enugu Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe, gunmen attacked the Police Division on Saturday evening with the yet to-be-identified female operative yet to be found days after the attack.
Ndukwe informed Enugu Commissioner of Police, Abubakar Lawal, on Monday visited the scene where he ordered the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to commence a full-scale investigation to locate the missing police woman and arrest the attackers. (The Nation)
