President Donald Trump of the United States has said that Iran could face massive military action in the next few weeks. He said that American forces are ready to do a lot of harm as the dispute gets worse.
Trump claimed on Wednesday night from the White House that the US was getting closer to its goals in the current fight with Israel. He said that operations will continue until those goals were fully met.
He remarked, “I’ve been clear from the start of Operation Epic Fury that we will keep going until we reach all of our goals.”
“Because of the progress we’ve made, I can say tonight that we are on track to finish all of America’s military goals very soon.”

The president seemed angry and said that the next stage of the campaign will be very important.
“We’re going to hit them really hard in the next two to three weeks.” Trump remarked, “We’re going to take them back to the Stone Age.”
The violence, which has been going on for more than a month, has caused deaths in parts of the Middle East and made people around the world more worried, especially about oil supplies.
Tensions rose even more when Iran purportedly closed the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for oil exports around the world. This raised fears of a bigger energy crisis and problems in international markets.
Even if the language is strong, it looks like diplomatic talks are still going on. Trump said that talks between Washington and Tehran had started up again, but the two sides are still very far apart on important matters.

He said that the US had made a 15-point proposal that the Iranian government turned down and came back with a different set of criteria.
Experts think that the latest comments show that Washington is taking a harder line, even if the rest of the world is still calling for calm to stop the crisis from getting worse and threatening peace in the region.
