The Kwankwasiyya Movement has advised its members to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Dr. Habibu Sale Mohammed, the Movement’s spokesperson, claimed in a statement yesterday that Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the National Leader of Kwankwasiya, has made plans to join the coalition that wants to remove President Bola Tinubu from office.
The Kwankwasiyya Movement wants to let all of its members in Nigeria and the wider public know that our Supreme Leader Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has finished making all the arrangements he needs to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
“In order to carry out this choice, he will officially join the party at his home, Gidan Kwankwasiyya, Miller Road, Kano, by noon on Monday, March 30, 2026.
“Because of this, all members of the Kwankwasiyya Movement are now told to go ahead and register with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in their wards, local government areas, and states right away. “Members are also encouraged to completely participate in all party activities and actively work toward the party’s growth, development, and success at all levels.
“This strategic choice, as always, was made with the best interests of the movement, our state, and the whole country in mind. It shows how committed we are to promoting democratic values, decent government, and the hopes and dreams of all the people.
“We stress that democracy must be safeguarded and the will of the people must always be followed. The Kwankwasiyya Movement is still strong, united, and dedicated to making Nigeria a better and more welcoming place for everyone.
…a story that is still going on
