On Tuesday, the news stated that the United States had delivered a 15-point plan to Iran to stop the war, with Pakistan serving as a go-between to get the plan to Tehran.
The proposal includes promises from Iran not to make nuclear weapons and to provide the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) its stockpile of enriched uranium, according to Israeli TV N12, as reported by dpa/NAN.
Axios, a US news site, stated that US special envoy Steve Witkoff told President Donald Trump that Iran has agreed to numerous important matters, including handing up its stockpile of highly enriched uranium.
The New York Times, however, said it was still not clear how Tehran would officially respond to the idea.
It was also unclear how Israel, another side in the conflict, would react.
Trump has indicated many times that Iran wants to make a deal.
He remarked, “We’re really talking to the right people, and they want to make a deal so badly, you have no idea how badly they want to make a deal.”
Trump claimed that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance are also taking part in the talks.
