The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) received a brand-new Toyota Hilux patrol vehicle from the Dunamis International Gospel Centre at the church’s Glory Dome in Abuja on Sunday. This would greatly improve road safety operations in the capital city.
The gift, which was given on March 1, 2026, will help RS 7.18 Lugbe, one of the busiest roads in the Federal Capital Territory, with heavy traffic and numerous accidents. It will improve enforcement, patrol, and rescue operations.
Assistant Corps Marshal Godwin Omiko, Ph.D., who spoke for the Corps Marshal, said that the gesture was more than a contribution; it was a strategic cooperation in the fight to reduce road crashes.
“This is a strong example of social and corporate responsibility.” He remarked, “It will directly improve patrol visibility, emergency response, and enforcement capacity in the FCT.”
The ceremony took on a symbolic meaning when Dr. Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis, and his wife, Dr. Becky Paul-Enenche, were made Honorary Special Marshals of the Corps.
Their investiture, which was approved by FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, shows that faith-based groups and safety agencies are working together more and more to keep Nigerian roads safe and follow the rules.
The award gives the priests an official status as road safety ambassadors, which will help spread the word about road safety from the pulpit to the streets.
Officials claim that the alliance shows a shared determination to fight reckless driving, breaking traffic laws, and deaths that could have been avoided that continue to be a problem in the FCT and abroad.
The Toyota Hilux patrol vehicle will help RS 7.18 Lugbe keep a closer eye on things, make sure people follow the rules, and respond more quickly to situations.
People who are watching say that the partnership shows that more people are realizing that everyone, from government organizations to religious groups to average drivers, needs to work together to make roads safer.
The message from the Glory Dome was clear: to save lives on Nigerian roads, we need to take action, work together, and stay disciplined.
