The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency claimed that the event happened about 1:55 a.m. on Tuesday. This led to the immediate activation of the state’s emergency response plan from its Command and Control Center in Alausa.
A few days later, a fire broke out and destroyed a one-story shopping center on Amore Street in Ajegunle Boundary, Lagos, that housed garments dealers. Millions of naira worth of items were lost.
