Following accusations by Caracas that the United States was responsible for the explosions that shook the capital, Iran today denounced what it called an American aggression on Venezuela.
“Strongly condemns the U.S. military attack on Venezuela and the flagrant violation of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country,” the Iranian foreign ministry stated in a statement.
Regarding the explosions in Venezuela, Washington has not yet responded.
Following a “large-scale strike” on the South American nation, President Donald Trump declared today that US forces had apprehended Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro.
Trump said on Truth Social that the United States of America had successfully launched a massive attack against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who had been apprehended and flown out of the country with his wife.
“U.S. Law Enforcement collaborated on this operation.”
