Aliko Dangote, the chairman of the Dangote Group, accused Farouk Ahmed of corruption, leading to his resignation as the managing director of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).
Gbenga Komolafe has resigned from his capacity as the chief executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), according to a statement released today by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga.
According to Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu has nominated two people to the Senate to take their place.
In a letter to the parliamentarians, the president requested that Saidu Mohammed be confirmed as the head of the NMDPRA and Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan as the CEO of NUPRC.
