Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, a TikTok influencer and livestreamer, has been hospitalized after crashing his recently acquired Mercedes-Benz during an emotional livestream.
The event occurred today along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos during an Instagram live session, according to Sunday Vanguard.
In the widely distributed video, Peller was noticeably distressed while driving alone.
During the broadcast, Peller was observed sobbing and upset, making several alarming remarks.
He regularly expressed anxiety about being publically criticized if his relationship ended, and at one point claimed he could harm himself without endangering others.
“I will utilize this automobile and have an accident right now,” he claimed on the webcast, before adding, “I’m afraid. I am afraid. Breaking up with me will result in mockery from others. “Thank you; I’m going to kill myself.”
Moments later, video footage showed Peller driving off the road and hitting with a barrier, causing extensive damage to the expensive vehicle.
Bystanders swiftly helped him at the site, and he was taken to the hospital.
While reports reveal he received medical assistance, the severity of his injuries remains unknown.
Peller and Jarvis have had a volatile relationship, with past public disagreements, allegations, and reconciliations taking place online. Leaked conversations implying another separation have stoked rumors that the current disagreement sparked the tragedy.
Social media comments have been divided, with many expressing genuine worry for Peller’s well-being and mental health, while others questioned whether the dramatic occurrence was overblown or staged for publicity, considering his previous viral content.
